I'm Aurélie.

Before AFRO BRAIN®, there was an observation: even though the lines are moving, fair and positive representation is still far too rare in our everyday lives.

I wanted to create what I would have dreamed of having as a little girl, and also what we are still missing today: quality tools to learn, and to learn about ourselves.

On Instagram, every Friday in stories, I posted the Afro Quiz: seven questions on an Afrocentric theme: gastronomy, literature, cinema, music, history… A community answered, got it wrong, learned, came back. People came to test their knowledge. They stayed for a rarer feeling: that of being, at last, the subject and not the footnote.

As a child, I understood that my color could be seen as a flaw. Before I even knew how to put words on it. You grow up with that, you deal with it, you don't forget. And one day you promise yourself that the children who come after will not set out so alone.

AFRO BRAIN® was born from that.

Tools designed as mirrors for those building themselves, and as windows for those who want to discover. For the little ones and the grown-ups alike. So that pride is passed on and knowledge is shared.
